Laura Cusack is the Division Director for Environmental Review and Quality Assurance at CH2M HILL Plateau Remediation Company. She has over 20 years’ experience in managing environmental projects and programs, planning, implementing and reporting on wastewater treatability and design projects and resolving environmental issues associated with the chemical processing, textile and food processing industries.
Previously, Cusack was with the Washington State Department of Ecology, Nuclear Waste Program for 13 years. She served as a Washington State representative to the National Governors’ Association Mixed Waste Task Force and was recognized by the Governor for her management leadership. In 2007, she joined CH2M HILL Hanford Group as a senior technical specialist working on regulatory issues associated with the tank farm cleanup.
Cusack earned a Bachelor of Arts in civil engineering at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, and Master of Engineering in Environmental Systems Engineering at Clemson University in Clemson, SC.
In addition to her technical and management experience, Cusack has dispute resolution and family mediation training.
