Bill Kitchen is the Manager for Facilities and Property Management with Washington River Protection Solutions, with responsibility for overseeing the safe maintenance and operations of extensive administrative office facilities and government leased and owned vehicles, as well as the stewardship of over $600 million of personal property.
He has served at Hanford for 17 years, with work functions including value engineering, interface management, risk management, strategic planning, and for the past 5 years, Facilities and Property Management. Bill worked 4 years at the Rocky Flats Closure Site managing the cultural change process to promote and encourage employee acceptance of an early closure of the site. He has over 20 years of experience in group facilitation and employee leadership development.
Kitchen holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and has further studies in areas of business and knowledge management.
