Todd Martin has been involved in Hanford issues for nearly fifteen years, serving from 2001 until 2007 as Chair of the Hanford Advisory Board. He has served as well as the Chair of the Fernald Silos Project Critical Analysis Team. He works as a consultant and is based in Northport, Washington. Martin has researched and written extensively on the worker safety, technical, regulatory, fiscal, and public involvement aspects of nuclear waste cleanup at Hanford and other Department of Energy sites. Throughout the 1990’s, he was the staff researcher for the Hanford Education Action League.
Martin has consulted for a wide range of governmental, contractor and public interest organizations. His area of expertise includes a variety of worker safety, project management, technology evaluation/selection, regulatory compliance, and public involvement issues. Martin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Whitworth College and a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences from Bard College.
