The Hanford Concerns Council and the participating
companies and organizations affirm the importance of confidentiality
to case
resolution of
employee concerns undertaken by the Council and its alternative
mediation approach.
The Council and its members
agree to safeguard information received or generated during its
proceedings.
The parties
agree
that Council case work and related information and records will,
to the extent possible, be treated as mediation work done under
the Washington State mediation stature, RCW 5.60.070. All parties,
Council members and institutions participating in the Council process
agree to not use or to disclose information or records
obtained in the Council process to third parties outside the mediation
process or to disclose the Council’s deliberations.
