A Department of Energy representative from the Hanford DOE office with whom each participating company contracts serves as an ex-officio
member of the Hanford Concerns Council to support the success and
development of effective problem resolution. This allows the government
to participate in a process that solves problems in issues where
the DOE has limited contractual jurisdiction. The process also
saves both money and time, as it benefits all parties.
