Length of Case Process

4. How long does the Council process take?

Depending upon the complexity, a case will take ten to fifteen weeks to resolve. Especially complex cases, such as those that have substantial technical or medical issues, may take longer. Such cases when brought to litigation and many administrative tribunals will normally take several years, with a lot more tension, a far less certain outcome, and much higher expense to all.
