Council’s Recommendations

When the Council reaches consensus on the best route to resolution, the proposed actions are reviewed with both the employee and the company to ensure that no major issues have been left out. The Council then formalizes its full recommendation and presents it in writing to both the employee and the company.

The company president reviews the Council’s summary report and decisions, and implements the recommendations, except under extraordinary circumstances permitted by the Charter agreement under which the Council operates. The employee, however, has the option of rejecting the recommended resolution and pursuing the matter through other channels.
