Autumn’s other interests include the work she has done with Hospice Africa Uganda since 2008. This organization is an international non-profit focused on providing and expanding palliative care in Africa. In 2013, she became a board member of the U.S. division of Hospice Africa and in this role has assisted in developing and implementing the strategic plan with an emphasis on public awareness initiatives.

She received her B.A. in Psychology from Seattle Pacific University and an M.A. in Conflict Resolution from the University of Bradford, UK.
